: Center for Countering Digital Hate, Dayenu: A Jewish Call To Climate Action, The Israeli Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy, Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance, Jewish Languages Project, Keshet, Pink Glasses, PJ Library, Rabbis for Human Rights, The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel

fanwork type: labor
fanwork subtype: translation
fandoms: The Murderbot Diaries (NOT Murderbot TV), Star Trek (TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY), Miraculous Ladybug
highest rating: T (teen)
minimum bid:
€5
audience: all ages
length / scope: less than 5k words
specialty tags: ambiguous endings, canonically Jewish characters, canonically trans or nonbinary characters, experiences, racial or cultural, of Jewish characters, f/f ships, Jewish interpretations of canon / canon characters, poly ships, trans or nonbinary interpretations of canon characters

particularly interested in characters / pairings: I like non-male and non-white characters as well as fluff, slice of life, emotional angst, or character studies. I prefer f/f or f/n relationships, including poly ships and friendships.

unwilling to address: I am not willing to work with: whump, graphic violence/blood, body horror, major character death, mentions/depictions of bigotry based on real world identities, mind control or forced alignment swap, book burnings, any discussion of real-world wars or armed conflict, depictions of abuse or unhealthy interpersonal relationships, negative depictions of/relationships with religion or religious people.

Fandom-specific: I am not willing to work with ships including Murderbot (exception: mensah/mb is okay), with the Murderbot tv show, or with any Star Trek content produced after Voyager.

creator note: I am offering translations between English and Spanish (or Portuguese) of a work the bidder has received permission to translate already. Fluent in Spanish, conversational in Portuguese. I have seven years of Spanish-language experience including a full-immersion study abroad program during spring 2026, and one year of beginner Portuguese for fluent Spanish speakers. In Spring 2027 I will have completed a 4-year course of study focusing on Spanish language, literature, and culture, including translating and writing academic essays, poetry, short fiction, and creative non-fiction.
**The requested fic should be the bidder's own or one for which they can have permission from the author by the start of the creation period. I will not translate a fic where I cannot prove the author is willing to have the work translated.**

I will not work with incomplete works. If the bidder has a partially or fully un-posted but complete work under the length requirement, that is acceptable.

If you request your own fic, I'll work fairly closely with you to keep to your original intent in the translation. In previous cases, I've asked about setting details (is a farm animal-based or agricultural?), names for OCs (should I transliterate or not?), and literal versus meaning-based translations on a case by case basis, among other things.

If you request someone else's fic and have permission, I'll probably work more independently and not ask many questions of you. Without a direct line to an author, translation is likely to be fairly colloquial and to prioritize meaning over exact words.

If you have a specific prompt and are not flexible, contact the creator before bidding even if it's within their parameters. If you are requesting a specific kink, always ask first.

bidding is open from 12:01:00 UTC+3, 10 June 2026 to 17:00:00 UTC+3, 15 June 2026.
Bids before or after this time will not be counted.

To bid on this offering:
1. Check the high bid on the bidding spreadsheet. It may take up to 5 minutes for a bid to appear.
2. Fill out the bidding form with a higher bid. The higher the bid, the more likely you are to be the winning bidder. Save this sheet so you can check it later. We will not contact you if someone outbids you. We will only contact the winning bidder after bidding closes.
